Botany 

• Goji berry is the dry matured fruit of Lycium barbarum, a member of Solananceae family, and normally grows in wild field, sunny corner of plant field. Main producing area in China are Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Neimeng, Xinjiang provinces which have sunny days all the year round. Traditional lyceum is first mentioned in the Divine Husgandman’s Classic (Shen’nong Bencaongjing). Both the berries and the leaves have a wide range of medicinal uses.
