Brief Introduction 

Goji berry is the dry matured fruit of Lycium barbarum, a member of Solananceae family,which normally grows in wild field, sunny corner of plant field. Main origin is Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Neimeng, Xinjiang provinces of China which have sunny days all the year round. Traditional Lycium is first mentioned in the Divine Husgandman’s Classic (Shen’nong Bencaongjing). Both berries and leaves of Lycium have a wide range of medicinal value. Ancient people used goji berry to make tea, soup, stew and wine or chewed them like raisins. Modern scientific research substantiated the ancient medical applications,
