Brief Introduction

Lactobacillus acidophilus is a Gram-positive, non-spore forming, homo-fermentative, catalase-negative probiotics. It is a common inhabitant of the human intestinal tract,the human mouth and female V-zone. It is also found in some traditional fermented milk(e.g. kefir)and is today widely used in food, beverages, dietary supplements, skin care products and animal nutrition.

Lactobacillus acidophilus LA11-Onlly screened and originates from healthy infant, is manufactured in China and deposited under CGMCC No. 2106 at the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center and CNCM No. I-4457 at the Collection Nationale de Cultures de Microorganismes in France. The strain Lactobacillus acidophilus LA11-Only has been subjected to API 50CHL sugar fermentation pattern analysis and a 16 S rDNA sequence analysis.And it has resistance to acid and bile.
