Brief Introduction

Bifidobacterium bifidum is a Gram-positive bacterium that is not motile, anaerobic, and not spore-forming. The bacterium is rod-shaped and can be found living in clusters, pairs, or even independently. The majority of the population of B. bifidum is found in the colon, lower small intestine, breast milk, and often in the female V-zone.

Bifidobacterium bifidum BB47 screened and originates from healthy infant, is manufactured in China and deposited under CGMCC No. 9917 at the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center. The strain Bifidobacterium bifidum BB47 has been subjected to API 50CHL sugar fermentation pattern analysis and a 16 S rDNA sequence analysis. And it has resistance to acid and bile.
